RoboCylinders – widest range lineair actuators

Fully built-in actuator:

  • Ball-bearing circulation spindle
  • conduction
  • servo- or steppermotor
  • absolute encoder
  • cabling for IAI controller

Several structures:

  • special version with wide housing and robust guides for large peak moments

RoboCylinders - grippers and rotary tables

Besides the lineair actuators the RoboCylinders program also consists of grippers and rotary tables specially for assembly and pick-and-place systems.

The grippers are available with 2 or 3 fingers.

The rotary tables and grippers are also equipped with a servo or stepper motor with encoder. 

CON Controllers – flexible but still easy

Through a teaching pendant or PC software the RoboCylinders can easily be programmed. Several functions are available such as absolute and relative positioning, push function, digital output winthin a zone.

Control via digital I/O or via a fieldbus  such as:

  • EtherNet/IP
  • Profinet IO & Profibus-DP

Ready-made cartesian robots

The RoboCylinders are robust actuators for cartesian systems. 
In addition IAI offers complete X-Y, X-Z and X-Y-Z solutions:

  • adapters for mounting the actuators
  • cabling for cablechains
  • multiply-axis controllers
  • one stepfile fort he complete solution

With a range of 500 x 500 x 150 mm the systems are also available as a  Table Top: plug-and-play postioning tables with integrated control directly on 230Vac. 

EC EleCylinders: the best alternative to pneumatics

The EC Elecylinders are basically constructed as follows:

  • Ball screw with slide or rod
  • Stepper motor with incremental or optionally with absolute encoder
  • Decentralized control for 2 positions Connection
  • 24Vdc Power supply with digital inputs and outputs
  • Serial port or optionally with Bluetooth for setting up and monitoring

Scara robots

Besides cartesian robots IAI offers scara robots with servo motors and low-cost versions with stepper motor.

  • arm lengths from 150 to 800 mm
  • dus tand waterproof (IP65)
  • cleanroom (ISO class 4)
  • optional with gripper

De IAI scara robots worden geleverd met SEL controllers.

Multiple-axis motion controllers

The cartesian and scara robots come with free programmable multiply-axis SEL controllers that allow interpolation.

For the scara robots they are provided with a coordination transformation so that they can easily be programmed in 3D.

The SEL controllers operate stand-alone. In addition they can communicate with an overhead control via digital I/O or via a fieldbus such as:

  • EtherCAT
  • EtherNet/IP
  • Profinet IO & Profibus-DP
  • CC-Link
