IAI EC5 High Power EleCylinder

Perfect alternative to pneumatics

IAI has expanded its EleCylinders program with the very compact High-power Mini version.

The IAI EleCylinders are a nice and good alternative to pneumatic actuators with one advantage

  • simplicity
  • high performance
  • easy to maintain
  • profitable

The EC EleCylinders are basically constructed as follows:

  • Ball screw with slide or connecting rod
  • Stepper motor with incremental or optional absolute encoder
  • Decentralized control for 2 positions
  • Connection: 24Vdc power supply with digital inputs and outputs
  • Serial port or optional Bluetooth for setup and monitoring

The new High-power version is a very compact design with connecting rod or table version suitable for masses up to 35 kg and with a stroke of 30 to 150 mm.
