Roller Screw versus Ball Screw Actuators
In the ever-evolving field of engineering, roller screw technology has become a significant force in linear electric actuator motion control....

Many of our components find their destination in the metal industry. Think of applications such as processing machines, welding robots, bending applications, lifting applications, cutting and machining machines, laser cutters, CNC machines... In short, the metal industry has known where to find us for years. Why? I can think of a few reasons.
When people ask me in which sectors we are active with ATB, my answer is usually "do you have a moment...?" Because that is quite a list, as can also be seen from the applications on our website. Due to the diversity of our products, we supply components to various industries.
The metalworking industry represents part of our portfolio in this. To be more specific: our customers in this case are manufacturers of machines that are used for metalworking.
I will give some examples in which our components play a role:
In the category of lifting, hoisting, and adjusting, I quickly arrive at an important pillar: machining equipment, such as laser cutters or welding manipulators.
In such applications, precision and clearance are often crucial for achieving an optimal finish on the final product, such as the cutting edge of a laser cutter. In short, there must always be a good balance in the selection of the various components.

The components we commonly supply here include spindle lifting elements from NEFF and Torriani slewing bearings for rotational adjustments. Both brands provide high-quality components and have their own factories in Germany and Italy.
Lastly, the Italian company Faro also supplies combi-rollers and mast profiles for linear adjustments. The combi-rollers are also available on plates, which are welded onto the mounting plate in our workshop in Mijdrecht by our service engineers.
Connection parts and couplings are essential for transmitting motion and force in CNC machines and, for example, pressing applications.
Rotar's universal joints can be used in pressing machines and production lines, where moving parts with different angles need to be connected. This is also the case in many lathes or milling machines.
Bönnekamp’s rod ends, clevises and ball joints are commonly used in applications where moving or rotating parts are connected.
We even have 600,000 standard items of these in stock, the largest inventory in the Benelux and surrounding areas.
I can confidently say: our years of experience and the knowledge we've built up over that time. We know the industry and the people working in it, so we understand what they need. Think of fast delivery times and the fact that we’re always ready to help with selecting the right components.
I'm also proud that we've been able to consistently claim excellent delivery reliability for many years.
And it’s precisely that combination of reliability and the ability to act quickly that is so important to our customers. We hear that from them regularly.
We have over 600,000 Bönnekamp items in stock, so fast delivery is guaranteed.
With all the above points in mind, I'm happy to announce that we will once again have a booth at Metavak this year. Over the course of three days, this is the perfect place for metal professionals to connect.
I warmly invite you to visit our stand! You can request free admission tickets through our website.
