Our team has expanded again with Marcel Goes as a sales engineer motion control. After an intensive training he is now active at full speed.
Marcel is an experienced and enthusiastic sales engineer, who joined our our team at Mijnsbergen in the Netherlands in December 2013 with a focus on Stöber Antriebstechnik, IAI Industrial Robots and Exlar: 'I chose Mijnsbergen because the atmosphere, the short lines, rapid response to customers, and the way of working really appeal to me. I directly hit it off with the people I spoke to. After working there for over half a year now, I know the company is what I expected. Not a "one-hit-and-run" mentality, but a structured company, focused on good long-term relationships. Those are aspects I can relate with.'
Marcel explains that the customer needs and satisfaction are paramount: 'I think it's great to build a good relationship with contacts. Recently I was at a customer who was looking for a specific motion control solution in Google. The client told me that he saw Mijnsbergen in the results and immediately thought "this is a company I know, and I've had solely good experiences with them." It is wonderful, knowing that you work for a company with such a mentality. '
In addition to his work, Marcel is preoccupied with his family: 'I have two children and love to focus on my family. I like to go to soccer and horseback riding with them. And in the summer we relax on the 'Vinkeveense Plassen' with boating and swimming.'
Marcel has found his place: 'I like to connect and maintain contacts and work towards a long-term relationship. In addition, the advisory aspect technically is quite interesting. To be with a customer and philosophize and engineer together with them towards the best solution.'
