Roller Screw versus Ball Screw Actuators
In the ever-evolving field of engineering, roller screw technology has become a significant force in linear electric actuator motion control....
Date: 5 December 2024
On November 5, 2024, we celebrated a special anniversary: on that date it was exactly 70 years ago that the collaboration between Stöber and ATB Automation began. A strong partnership, in which trust and expertise have always been the basis for joint successes.
To celebrate this anniversary, we were visited at our office in Mijdrecht by Daniel Lohse, Director Business Development at Stöber. He brought an award specially made for the occasion, as an appreciation of the long collaboration.
From variator to high-tech servo systems
In November 1954, the contract between “Gebrüder Stöber” and ATB (then “Mijnsbergen”) was signed. Anyone who compares the product catalogue from that time with the delivery program of 2024 will immediately see that developments during those 70 years have not stood still: for example, the variators have made way for high-tech servo systems and innovation will continue in the coming years in the field of Machine Safety and Energy Efficiency, among other things.
On to 100 years
Henry le Noble, manager motion control and deputy director at ATB Automation: “Stöber stands for quality, reliability and super-fine cooperation with management and all employees. Technological developments continue.
We look forward to our joint future with confidence. On to the next milestone, 100 years of cooperation!”
We supply slewing ring bearings, oscillating mountings, tensioner devices from stock and we also have spiral bevel gearboxes, servo gears and electromechanical actuators in our delivery program.
In addition we also select and offer the right components and systems for motion control solutions, such as servo gear motors, linear servo actuators and complete XYZ cartesian systems.
