Leadshine has introduced the new iSV2 series of brushless DC servo systems. The iSV2 series is available in a 200W and 400W version with front flange 60 mm and 750W version with front flange 80 mm.
The motors are equipped with an integrated servo controller which is supplied with 24Vdc or 48Vdc. This makes them extremely suitable for mobile applications with battery power supplies such as AGV systems, shuttles and machines in agriculture and horticulture. Because no separate drive is required, these servo drives are also often used in modularly constructed devices and machines, where systems can be easily expanded without using or adapting a control cabinet.
The brushless servo motor is equipped with a 17-bit encoder and optionally with a holding brake. The motor can be overloaded 2 to 3 times for gears.
The drive has 4 programmable inputs, 2 programmable outputs and a connection for a braking resistor. The iSV2 series is available with a CANopen or Modbus (RS485) connection for communication with higher-level controllers, both speed and position control. The Modbus version is also suitable for pulse-direction control.
