The hydraulic drive of Ringersbrug has been converted to an environmentally friendly electromechanical drive with cylinders from ADE. This bridge is located over the Noordhollandsch Kanaal in the centre of Alkmaar and is an important traffic artery for pedestrians.

The cylinders are virtually maintenance-free and only need to undergo a visual inspection once a year. In addition, this drive has a very long lifespan.
Another additional advantage is the very silent running of the ADE cylinders compared to the old hydraulic installation. This is greatly appreciated by the residents, who no longer suffer from noise pollution.
ATB previously supplied actuators for another bridge in the centre of Alkmaar: the Victorie bridge.
We supply slewing ring bearings, oscillating mountings, tensioner devices from stock and we also have spiral bevel gearboxes, servo gears and electromechanical actuators in our delivery program.
In addition we also select and offer the right components and systems for motion control solutions, such as servo gear motors, linear servo actuators and complete XYZ cartesian systems.
