ATB Automation introduces the RV (rotate vector) reducers from Wanshsin. The RV reducer is based on the cycloidal drive principle and has many advantages, including compact size, strong shock resistance, high torque, excellent positioning accuracy, low vibration and a large reduction ratio.
In the gear transmission of the reducer, the eccentric part of the input shaft rotates, causing the external gear to perform an eccentric movement. During this movement, the eccentric shaft engages the external gear with the internal gear. Due to the difference in the number of teeth (n) between the internal and external gear, the external gear lags n teeth behind the internal gear when the eccentric shaft completes one rotation, resulting in a differential transmission ratio.
Depending on the different positions of the fixed point, input and output, the rotation direction and speed ratio vary
Wanshsin markets 4 different types with torques up to 7500Nm and reductions up to 200
