The new MC500 controller from Leadshine is suitable for controlling 8, 16 or 32 servo and stepper drives via EtherCAT. In addition, there are also 6 outputs for controlling controllers with pulse direction.
The excellent performance of a dual-core A9 SOC+FPGA high-speed processor enables motion control functions such as positioning, interpolation, flying scissors and E-CAM that comply with PLCopen standards. The MC500 is programmed with Codesys V3.5 according to the IEC standard IEC-61131-3.
In addition to the EtherCAT master functionality, the controller is also equipped with various communication options such as OPC UA, EtherNET/IP, CANopen and Modbus (RS485).
16 binary inputs and 16 binary outputs are provided as standard. Expansion of the number of binary and analog I/O is possible via the R2 expansion modules. These R2 modules can be connected directly to the MC500 or at another location via the EtherCAT R2EC EtherCAT Coupler.
The LT2000 touch screens are available to operate the controller, which are connected via EtherNET or RS485.
ATB Automation supplies the MC500 controller in combination with the Leadshine EtherCAT servo drives and stepper drives.
We supply slewing ring bearings, oscillating mountings, tensioner devices from stock and we also have spiral bevel gearboxes, servo gears and electromechanical actuators in our delivery program.
In addition we also select and offer the right components and systems for motion control solutions, such as servo gear motors, linear servo actuators and complete XYZ cartesian systems.
