ATB Automation supplies wheel drives specially developed for AGV vehicles and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR).
Automated Guided Vehicles or Autonomous Mobile Robots are increasingly used in automated transport. AGVs follow a fixed line and cannot deviate from it, unlike AMRs that can avoid objects.
ATB Automation supplies compact wheel drives consisting of a DC controller with a BLDC servo motor and a gearbox.
Leadshine BLDC servo controller and motor
The dc drives are suitable for connection to batteries with a supply voltage of 24 or 48Vdc. The controllers can be controlled via CANOpen, Modbus (RS485), pulse direction or analog.
The brushless DC servo motors are maintenance-free and very compact. Available in 200W to 2000W.
Leadshine BLDC servo motors with integrated drive
In addition to the version with a separate controller, the motors are also available with a controller mounted directly on the motor. This saves wiring.
Available are motors with 200W, 400W and 750W.

Wanshsin planetary gearboxes
The motors can be supplied with mounted compact planetary gearboxes in reductions from 3:1 to 200:1 in straight and right-angle versions.
Versions are available with straight teeth and helical teeth for a lower noise level.
Depending on the mounting of the wheel, a gear unit with output shaft or output flange can be selected.

KGV wheel drives
The KGV wheel drive consists of a planetary gearbox with reductions from 2:1 to 40:1 and a special bearing housing on which a wheel is mounted. This creates a very compact and robust drive.
The wheel is made of wear-resistant polyurethane (PU).
The KGV series is available in 4 sizes with wheel diameters of at least 150, 160, 180 or 250 mm.
The Leadshine bldc servo motor mounts directly into the gearbox.
