Laser welding installation with Exlar roller screw servo actuators

Fully automatic laser welding installation for Pillow Plate heat exchangers. Plate thickness combinations (upper/lower plate): 0.8/0.8 to 2/20 mm.

Two plates are clamped against each other with two Exlar roller screw servoactuators with a clamping force up to 15 kN. The two servoactuators run synchronous in the servo controller.

Thermoform machine with Exlar rollerscrew actuators

Forming of plastic cups in the mold with an servoplug consisting of an Exlar FT rollerscrew actuator with forces of 15 kN and a speed of 750 mm/s.
Tilt and lift movement of the product with a Exlar FT60 and GSX60 servo actuator for 30 moves per minute.

Valve control exhaust fan with Exlar actuator

Accurate and rapid exhaust ventilation valve control with EXLAR GSM and Tritex T2 servo actuator replacing air cylinders. 

The Exlar actuators are fitted with stainless steel shaft and protection bellows.
The Tritex T2 actuators are equiped with embedded positioning controllers with 4-20mA control from the parent control.
The GSX actuators are controlled by Stober servo controllers.

Pressing blood bags with Exlar servo actuator

For sealing of blood bags the Exlar GSX40, GSX 50 and GSX60 servoactuators are applied. Compressive forces run the process up to 70 kN. There has been chosen for an electric actuator as a replacement of a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder, because of the high reproducibility. Through a load cell, the force is measured. Because the actuator is provided with a roller screw, the lifetime is high in spite of the high duty cycle.

Bicycle test rig with Exlar actuator

A system with durable electric actuators from the GSX-series of Exlar which ensures that the quality if a bicycle frame is determined by tests on stiffness and elasticity. These compact roller screw servo actuators are very powerful, reliable and have a high life time.  

The actuator has a payload of 10 kg and moves with 3,5 Hz. The actuator is controlled with the Stöber SD6 controller via EtherCAT.
