The Ooigem lock is located in the Roeselare-Leie canal (BE), an important shipping connection for the companies behind it.
The lock was built in the early 1970s and had to be modernized. For this purpose, both the structural and electromechanical equipment were addressed.
ATB Automation supplied 12 actuators from ADE-werk for this project. These actuators ensure that the lock gates and bypass sewers can open and close.
