Leadshine’s new Compact Motion PLC S5 series specializes in controlling motion applications. The CODESYS V3.5 programming environment, including web visualization, makes the controller suitable for medium-sized automation projects such as temperature control, analog signal processing, and multifunctional communication, in addition to motion tasks.
Simple and flexible system expansion of up to 32 R3S IO modules via the integrated 100MHz High-speed System Bus. Alternatively, this can be supplemented with Leadshine’s remote IO modules via the R3EC or R2EC EtherCAT Couplers.
Finally, two Expansion Boards, BD1 and BD2, are available for CANopen, RS485, RS232, and/or additional binary and/or analog IO communication.
The result is a flexible architecture with various communication protocols for industrial network systems.
