At the world's largest flower trading centers in Aalsmeer and Naaldwijk (NL), our Rosta ESL Anti-vibration mounts are used in the braking system for flower transport.

Large quantities of flowers and plants are transported within FloraHolland every day. This is done, among other things, by means of electric tractors that can pull up to 30 connected flower carts. These tractors transport the flowers to the refrigerated trucks at the lower loading bridges. Because the flower carts are unbraked and can weigh up to 12 tons together, it is necessary to slow down the electric tractors while descending the slope.

This is done by means of a braking system with bumpers, which are placed on both sides of the slope. These bumpers, behind which Rosta ESL Anti-vibration mounts are placed, press against the sides of the train on the steepest part of the slope. This ensures sufficient braking power for the train and also ensures that the flower carts do not sway.
