DESTACO pneumatic toggle clamps utilize the same basic design and operation as manual hold-down or straight-line toggle clamps, but are operated pneumatically. The pneumatic clamps are ideal for quick and repetitive production operations, and yet are portable and economical to use on short run jobs with temporary fixturing.
The pneumatic toggle clamp retains the desirable toggle-lock safety feature, so they stay mechanically locked even with total loss of air pressure. Holding capacities are a function of the cylinder/clamp/pressure combination. The units are completely self-contained and require only a pressure source hook-up. Most models are equipped with a magnetic piston ring for end position sensing using optional switches.
We supply slewing ring bearings, oscillating mountings, tensioner devices from stock and we also have spiral bevel gearboxes, servo gears and electromechanical actuators in our delivery program.
In addition we also select and offer the right components and systems for motion control solutions, such as servo gear motors, linear servo actuators and complete XYZ cartesian systems.
