Geared motor system with a common modular, torsionally stiff , leak-proof design. Gear unit and system motor are directly flange mounted, the pinion is on the motor shaft. This integrated compact design is an essential factor for the high accuracy and the extraordinary stiffness of STÖBER MGS geared motor. From 0,75 kW available in IE2 efficiency norm.

STÖBER MGS C co-axial helical geared motors
Compact co-axial helical geared motor for cost-optimized drive solutions. With variety of gear housing styles.
- 10 gear sizes (C0 to C9).
- Motor power 0.12 to 45 kW (from 0,75 kW available in IE2).
- Rated torque of 10 to 7,000 Nm.
- Gear ratios from i = 2 to 270.
- Backlash smaller than 10 - 20 arcmin.
- Modular, torsionally stiff , leak-proof design.

Gear unit and AC motor are directly flange mounted, the pinion is on the motor shaft. This integrated compact design is an essential factor for the high accuracy and the extraordinary stiffness of STÖBER MGS geared motors. For vector-controlled inverter operation use of an incremental encoder is provided for as standard. Gear sizes C0 to C5 are lifetime lubricated under normal operating conditions.

STÖBER MGS F shaft mounted helical geared motors
Co-axial geared motor with large shaft-center distance. Particularly suited as travel drive.
- 6 gear sizes shaft mounted helical geared motors (F1 to F6).
- Motor power 0.12 to 9.2 kW (from 0,75 kW available in IE2).
- Rated torque of 24 to 1,100 Nm.
- Gear ratios from i = 4 to 440.
- Backlash smaller than 10 - 11 arcmin, reduced 5 - 8 arcm.
- Modular, torsionally stiff , leak-proof design.

Shaft mounted helical geared motors available with:

  • Solid shaft with keyway.
  • Hollow shaft with keyway, optional with cover.
  • Hollow shaft with shrink disk, optional with cover.

STÖBER MGS K helical bevel geared motors

Versatile, highly rigid right-angle geared motor. The low-backlash version satisfies the most exacting demands.
- 10 gear sizes (K1 to K10).
- Motor power 0.12 to 45 kW (from 0,75 kW available in IE2).
- Rated torque of 22 to 12,000 Nm.
- Gear ratios from i = 4 to 380.
- Backlash smaller than 10 - 12 arcmin, reduced to 5 - 8 arcmin or to 2 - 3 arcmin.
- Modular, torsionally stiff , leak-proof design.

Available as:

  • Solid shaft with keyway.
  • Hollow shaft with keyway, optional with cover.
  • Hollow shaft with shrink disk, optional with cover.

Efficient compact right-angle geared motor. A favorably priced alternative for the standard tasks expected of a right-angle drive.
- 5 gear sizes (S0 to S4).
- Motor power 0.12 to 5.5 kW (from 0,75 kW available in IE2).
- Rated torque of 23 to 800 Nm.
- Gear ratios from i = 6 to 680.
- Backlash smaller than 20 arcmin.
- Modular, torsionally stiff , leak-proof design.

Helical worm geared motors available with:

  • Solid shaft with keyway.
